In the early 2000s, the Panama City Beach Veteran's Memorial was relocated to West Park Drive from its original location inside Aaron Bessant Park, for better visibility to the public.

The community widely supported this move to ensure that more people acknowledge veterans' sacrifices. Featuring polished plaques and memorial bricks, the memorial became a significant location for local ceremonies, especially on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

Over the years, the Panama City Beach Veteran's Memorial has not only honored the past but has also become a symbol of community unity. It serves as a reminder of enduring values like courage, sacrifice, and duty that continue to shape the nation.
