NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS

ONE (1) PORTABLE GROUND PENETRATING RADAR

The City of Panama City Beach hereby solicits sealed bids for providing one (1) Portable Ground Penetrating Radar.

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM Central Time, September 5, 2017 at City of Panama City Beach Utilities Department, 116 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida and will be opened and publicly read immediately thereafter at the City of Panama City Beach City Hall at 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida. All bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid- Panama City Beach- PORTABLE GROUND PENETRATING RADAR.”

Copies of the specifications may be obtained from the Utilities Department Office at the address above. Point of contact for obtaining specifications is Adrienne Pickett, email apickett@pcbgov.com. No specifications will be issued to suppliers later than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the time indicated above for receiving bids.

Bids must be submitted upon the standard form contained in the Specifications.

The City of Panama City Beach ("City") reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 30 days after opening.

The City shall award the purchase order to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided, however, the City reserves the right to award the Contract to a Bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that another Bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other Bidder.

Each bidder must comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida.
