Public Notice - Civil Service Commission Vacant Seat

The City of Panama City Beach is currently soliciting one volunteer to fill the City Council Representative vacant seat on Civil Service Commission with a term ending October, 2024.

The Civil Service Commission shall adopt, amend, and enforce a code of rules and regulations providing for initial and continued employment of all City employees, and other duties as provided for by Florida statutes, City Charter, and City Code of Ordinances.

Qualifications: Applicant shall be a citizen of the United States who is a registered elector of Bay County, Florida, and who resides within the City of Panama City Beach.

Board members serve in a voluntary capacity, with a minimal stipend, and should be available to meet at least once per month and on an as-needed basis at City Hall, 17007 Panama City Beach Parkway. All meetings are advertised and open to the public.
