NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS - “STREET RESURFACING PROJECT – FY 2021”
This project includes the resurfacing of San Pablo St, Christopher Dr, Colina Cir, Colina Dr, Summerwood Dr, Windridge Ct, Sandalwood Ct, Young Street, Oleander Cir, E. Gulf Blvd, E. Gulf Ct, W. Sonata Cir, E. Sonata Cir, Caladium Cir, Short St, Woodland St, Wisteria St, Dogwood St, Evergreen St, Collins Dr, Parkhill Cir, and Leary Dr. It also includes the replacement of a waterline that runs under Young Street and placement of two (2) hydrants on the same street. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and labor to complete the project. All Bidders shall be Florida Department of Transportation prequalified and must provide proof of prequalification prior to Notice of Award.
Plans and specifications will be available on February 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm and can be obtained Digitally by e-mail by contacting Janine Thomas @ janine.thomas@pcbgfl.gov or calling 850-233-5100 (ext. 2416). The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, with respect to Public Entity Crimes.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. (CST) on March 11, 2021 at the City of Panama City Beach City Hall, 17007 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413.
Bids will be received until 1:00 p.m. Central Time, March 24, 2021 at City of Panama City Beach City Hall, 17007 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, Florida, 32413 and will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter. All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Panama City Beach – “STREET RESURFACING PROJECT – FY 2021”. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid shall accompany the Bid. The City of Panama City Beach (“City”) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 30 days after opening.
The City shall award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided, however, the City reserves the right to award the Contract to a Bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that another Bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other Bidder.
