Panama City Beach Aquatic Center Pool Liner Repair Project 2020-
1. New Proposal Form to Replace the Original- Changes include: Project Completion changed from Sat March 21 to Tue March 24, 2020; A minimum of a (5) Year Warranty change in language and additional info required for the Project Price Breakdown.

2. Dewatering System – Replace Item Part 1 M - The High Water Mark in the Aquatic Center is estimated at approximately 6 feet. The Dewatering System must be priced at 100% as there are no guarantees the Dewatering System Well Point Header Location when the Pool was originally built is workable. The Dewatering System may be set up on the Aquatic Center Grounds during the week of February 24th, 2020. The Contractor will be responsible for draining the pool with the Dewatering system turned “ON” beginning Friday February 28th at approximately 6:30pm. The Project Officially Starts on Friday February 28th, 2020 and is still planned to be completed by Saturday March 21, 2020 with the pool filling back up beginning Sunday March 22nd and Monday March 23 with Tuesday March 24th as the day the Dewatering system is to be removed by 10am.

3. Project Time Line – Replace Item Part 1 J - As explained in the Dewatering System above, The Project officially begins on Friday February 28th at 6:30pm and Final Completion/Inspection Date with Water in the pool will be Tuesday March 24th at 10am. If Job is not completed and facility back in the same condition as it was when project started there will be Liquated Damages of $1,000.00 per day beginning on Tuesday March 24th at 10:01am. If a second day, Wednesday March 25th at 10:01am liquated damages would be $2,000.00 and if a third day Thursday March 26th at 10:01am liquated damages would be $3,000.00 and so on. Prep Work, Installation of Dewatering System and Material drop off may occur beginning Monday February 24th with the understanding that the pool will still be in use until Friday February 28th at 6:30pm. Bad Weather Clause- If it is determined by the City and the Contractor’s Project Supervisor that the weather is too dangerous to work in or that weather will cause issues to the project then the day will be cancelled and a completion day will be added at the end of the project. A Bad Weather Form will need to be filled out, signed by the Project Supervisor, the Parks and Recreation Director and Notarized by a City Staff member at the Parks and Recreation office at 16200 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, FL 32413.

4. The Pool Liner Membrane – In Addition to the specifications of Part 1 D, E & F– Add the following: The Pool Liner Membrane must be a minimum of 60 mil thick, 81” wide. Preferred products are Myrtha Pool Liners or RenoSys Pool Liners with their specifications. Any other pool liners recommended for this project would have to be researched and must be comparable to Myrtha or RenoSys Pool Liners before accepting the bid proposal. It is preferred for the Pool Liner to be Light Blue but White would be acceptable.

5. Warranty – Replace Item Part 1 C & Attachment C. A Minimum of a (5) Year Warranty must be included on the Pool Liner and Pool Lane Markers. If any part of the Pool Liner or Pool Lane Markers fail in any way which include but not limited to coming off the walls/floors, cracking, fading, etc, The Warranty will cover all costs involved with repairs, replacements, travel, shipping costs, etc. No Exceptions. A New Attachment C replaces the original.

6. Gutters & Lane Designation Numbers – Part 1 A 3 & 5

Gutters do not have Liners. When Repairing the Pool, Repair all seams in the gutters to prevent leaks. Lane Designation Numbers on the bottom of the pool have been Eliminated from this project.
