NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS

PANAMA CITY BEACH - "STREET RESURFACING PROJECT - FY 2019"

This project includes the resurfacing of Junipero Ave, W. Gulf Blvd, a portion of Sea Oats Dr, Tarpon Street, Bid A Wee Ct, Bid A Wee Ln, Hibiscus St, a portion of Evergreen Street, a portion of Beth St, Laurel St, Gulf Side Drive and re-striping Cobb Rd. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and labor to complete the project. All Bidders shall be Florida Department of Transportation prequalified and must provide proof of prequalification prior to Notice of Award.

Plans and specifications will be available on April 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm and can be obtained at the Public Works office at 116 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413 or by e-mail by contacting Wyatt Rothwell @ wrothwell@pcbgov.com. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, with respect to Public Entity Crimes. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. (CST) on May 16, 2019 at the City of Panama City Beach City Hall Annex, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida.

Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. Central Time, May 30, 2019 at City of Panama City Beach City Hall, 110 South Arnold Road Panama City Beach, Florida, 32413 and will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter. All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked "Sealed Bid - Panama City Beach - "STREET RESURFACING PROJECT - FY 2019". A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid shall accompany the Bid. The City of Panama City Beach ("City") reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 30 days after opening.

The City shall award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided, however, the City reserves the right to award the Contract to a Bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that an other Bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other Bidder.
