NOTICE TO BID- SEAHORSE LAKE MULTI-USE TRAIL

PANAMA CITY BEACH – SEAHORSE LAKE MULTI-USE TRAIL

This project includes: construction of approximately 2,100 LF 10’ wide ¼ down to fines multi-use trail located within Aaron Bessant Park around the top of Seahorse Lake as more specifically set forth and described in the Contract Documents.  Contractor is responsible for all cut and fill work related to this project.  All existing utilities and storm structures are to be protected in place during construction.  The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and labor to complete the project. You must be a licensed contractor in the State of Florida to bid on this project. A copy of your contractor’s license will need to be submitted with the bid.

A complete set of Bid Documents for the project will be available on January 23, 2017 and can be obtained at City of Panama City Beach, Public Works Office, 116 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413.

Cost for Bid Documents will be $25.00 per set and is non-refundable.  Partial sets will NOT be issued.  Checks should be made payable to City of Panama City Beach.

Bids will be received until 2:00 pm (CST) on February 14, 2017 at the City of Panama City Beach, City Hall Annex, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida, 32413 and will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter. All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Panama City Beach – SEAHORSE LAKE MULTI-USE TRAIL”.  A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% shall accompany the Bid.  The City of Panama City Beach (“City”) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.  All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 30 days after opening. 

The City shall award the Contract to the Bidder who the City determines in its reasonable discretion that offers the City the better value based upon the overall unit prices for the various portions of the potential Work that may be authorized pursuant to the Contract.
