NOTICE TO BID

This project includes the construction of two, duplex, submersible-style lift stations within including approximately 95, 215, and 60 linear feet of 4-, 6-, and 8-inch diameter forcemain respectively and approximately 190 linear feet of 6-inch potable watermain and appurtenances. Demolition of one existing drypit/wetpit pumping station and partial demolition of a precast concrete wetwell and valve vault.  Quantities are subject to change.  The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and labor to complete the project.

Plans and specifications will be available on June 6, 2016 and can be obtained or examined at the City of Panama City Beach Utilities Department at 116 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida 32413. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, with respect to Public Entity Crimes. 

There will be no cost for Plans and Specifications (digital copy only on CD).  Partial sets will NOT be issued.

Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. Central Time, July 6, 2016 at City of Panama City Beach City Hall, 110 South Arnold Road, Panama City Beach, Florida, 32413 and will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter. All Bids shall be submitted in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Panama City Beach – Colony Club Lift Stations 8 & 18 Replacement”.   A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid shall accompany the Bid.  The City of Panama City Beach (“City”) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.  All Bids shall be firm (including all labor and material prices) for a period of 30 days after opening.

The City shall award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; provided, however, the City reserves the right to award the Contract to a Bidder who is not the lowest responsive and responsible bidder if the City determines in its reasonable discretion that another Bid offers the City a better value based upon the reliability, quality of service, or product of such other Bidder.
